Reverse Engineer - Glimps of the finish line

After solving the snips I was able to move on to every other piece of the object which proved to be just as challenging.

The handles were my first step in the project finish line. The various levels and diameters of the curves made it impossible to use sweep as the bottom was semi-flat. In the end, I had to point out every level of the curve and create curves to then loft the image. This was separate from the base/butt of the handle which had to be measured and modeled using edge surface.

After completing this part I moved on to what I call the bridge which clamps the snips to the handles. This proposed its own list of challenges as the snips curved outwards towards the tip and narrowed towards the base. Edge surface and sweep2 ended up being the tools to use for this piece.

Moving on to another object I had to create a double radius spring that curved outward on the tips. Simple right?! No way but after playing with different tools I created two spirals extended the curves, attached them, and then created a spiral along curve tool to create the final double layer spiral.

Finally, the screws were easy enough. creating the proper thread was a bit of a challenge but after creating one it was easy to figure out how to do the rest as two screws were the exact same.
