Milestone Projects - Done and Done

                                                            Castle in the Sky

For this project, I focused mainly on using the array and Polar array functions in conjunction with Record history to create these beautiful spiral shapes. This project allowed me to create properly closed poly surfaces with extrude curves.

                                                      Surface Design - Pattern Project

This project allowed me to appreciate the beauty of repetition and linear shapes. I learned to make sure that lines are linked properly to make sure it is an enclosed surface.

Reverse Engineer - Wiss 3-Piece Aviation Snip Set

This had to be the most challenging project I ever had to do. Each main piece of this object had to be stitched together one by one to make sure it maintained true to its form. Even after spending weeks on this object, I feel I could still do more to complete it. Word to the wise, watch out for those multi-faceted curvilinear surfaces. They are a killer. The savior of the day ended up being Edge Surface, loft, and fillet edge.

                                                 Wearable Object - Glasses

After brainstorming various ideas and consulting with my classmates, I decided to do a facial piece. It was challenging to measure how the object would fit on the fact properly. After creating the Snips, I had some tricks in my pocket that helped me create the exact shapes I wanted while staying true to the concept.

Finally, I set up my Shapeways shop https://www.shapeways.com/shops/3dino  I added my product and everything but it wouldn't show it until I ordered it myself, Soooo weird.
